Arrive at Munich Airport clear German Immigration and Customs. Your
rental car is handed over to you at the airport by our agent and you
drive into Munich. In Munich, check into your centrally located hotel
where a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits you. The balance of the
afternoon is for independent activities. The capital of Bavaria (Munich)
is home to Germany's finest museums and is Germany's second most popular
destination, after Berlin Overnight Munich.
Day 2,
Munich Orientation Tour
Meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby after breakfast
for a full day, private tour of our favorite choices in Munich. After
a day of sightseeing with your guide, the balance of the evening is

Day 3,
Munich to Fussen to Innsbruck
Drive 80 miles to Fussen an tour Neuschwanstein, the legacy of Mad King
Ludwig II. Drive another 70 miles to Innsbruck. In Innsbruck, check
into your centrally located hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room
awaits you. The balance of the afternoon is for independent activities.
At the intersection of the north-south and east-west highways through
the Alps, Innsbruck has always been famous. For visitors to Innsbruck
there's an abundance of mountains, plenty of fresh air, and enough breathtaking

Day 4,
Innsbruck Orientation tour
Meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby after breakfast
for a full day, private tour of the Altstadt (the Old Town). The Altstadt
can only be appreciated on foot since after 10:30 AM it's exclusively
pedestrian traffic. Overnight Innsbruck.
Day 5,
Day trip to Oberammergau
Drive 45 miles to visit the site of the Passion Play. Day to explore

Day 6,
Innsbruck to Salzburg
Drive 120 miles to Salzburg. In Salzburg check into your centrally located
hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits you. The balance
of the day and evening is for independent activities. The "heart
of the heart of Europe" rests along the Salzach River with a beautiful
mountain backdrop. "The city of Mozart" and the setting of
"The Sound of Music," has a worldwide reputation for well
preserved 17th & 18th century houses. Overnight Salzburg.
Day 7,
Orientation tour in Salzburg
Meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby at 9:0 AM for a
morning tour of historic Salzburg. After lunch (lunch not included)
your have a private Sound of Music tour with your guide. Overnight
Salzburg.
Day 8,
Independent day in Salzburg
Explore Salzburg on your own. We suggest a return visit to the old city
with its slender, narrow, houses from the Middle Ages. Overnight Salzburg.
Day 9,
Salzburg to Vienna
Drive 180 miles to Vienna. In Vienna, check into your centrally located
hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits you. The balance
of the day and evening is for independent activities. Vienna is a city
of music, cafes, waltzes, parks, art, poetry and pastries. It's also
the home of the Wurstelstand, (street corner venders) who sell frankfurters,
bratwurst, and other Austrian sausages, on a roll and mit senf (with
mustard). Our favorite is the Kaserkrainer, (fat hot dog filled with
tasty cheese).

Day 10,
Guided tour in Vienna
Meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby after breakfast
for a full day guided tour of Vienna. After your tour, the balance of
the day is for independent activities.

Day 11, Independent day in Vienna
Explore Vienna on your own. We suggest visits in the Inner City and
Old Town. On the Karntnerstrasse, (main shopping street), enjoy the
11:00 AM ritual of coffee, then visit the Schonbrunn Palace. Or, visit
the triple crown of Vienna's tourism: the Hofburg Palace Complex, the
Spanish Riding School (Tuesday to Saturday) and the Vienna Boys' Choir.

Day 12,
Vienna to Munich
Drive 270 miles to Munich. In Munich, check into your centrally located
hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits you. The balance
of the day and evening is for independent activities. Overnight Munch.
Day 13, Munch departure
Return your rental car to our agent at the Munch Airport in time to
allow added time for airport security. Filled with souvenirs and memories
of your Alpine adventure you depart on your back home.

Our
package includes:
Rental car (accessible van w/lift or luxury car) with unlimited mileage,
basic collision coverage, and onboard GPS navigation system. Accessible
accommodations, daily full-breakfast at your hotel, hotel garage parking
fees. English speaking guides where noted, local and government taxes,
administration fees in Austria and the USA.
Our
packages do not include:
International airfare, passports and visas, travel insurance, admissions
to attractions, gratuities to service staff, meals (except daily breakfast
at your hotels), supplemental vehicle damage insurance, rental vehicle
fuel, road tolls, maps, parking fees, fines, telephone and postage from
